We are sorry to say that we have no plans in present time to continue with Sovereign, but what the hell...Who knows =)

Hello kiddies!
Sorry about the big delay, but the new year-promise will be that this site will be updated at least once a week. Hopefully =b

- For now, we have sent out a whole pile of Hollow Limit promo's to magazines, labels etc.
Hopefully we will get some sweet answers on this spree, and we can say we have had a few good ones!

- Sovereign was ranked No. 1 unsigned band at WCNI radio program The Asylum last week. We are proud to say that Hollow limit and our previous demo "And the pain begins" has gone warm on The Asylum since a few week's back. Many thanks to WCNI and The Asylum!
Lillerskog also made a phone interview last sunday, and hopefully we will be able to put up that interview shortly!

Hey pajka å töser!
- For thoose who not might know, Larsa moved to Los Angeles last month to become an guitar-god at M.I (Muscicians Institute). We wish him all luck and hopes that he some day will come back to fullfill the prophecy.

- Yesterday and the day before after that and then the third day after the first one we added a couple of new cool movies! One of them were a live-performance from Maratonrock -06, and the song is Panic monger. As soon as I have learned more 'bout Adobe Premiere i will also upload the two songs Bullet and Repulsive needs. I think you know me by now, so you understand that that can take between a couple of days to about two month's =b.
The second movie that was uploaded were a "presentation" of our recording of Hollow limit. Thanks to Arnesson who edited the shit. A couple of minor updates has been done as well, one of them were that we added the album covers next to the songs under the media-section. The movies are there as well. Can't really remember what the second minor update was...

How ya'll doin?
Sorry we haven't written anything for a while but we had once again problems with spam in our guestbook. We have a new one now though, but it's a paid one, so we haven't figured out how to modify it's present horrible looks =b. But have patience, my children. Lillerskog is like a turtle. Slow but careful hehe...

- Marathonrock was a minor success! Larsson jumped out of a cake, only dressed in a g-string, as an intro to the show and then the audience melted like ice-cream. The gig was fun as hell, probably one of the funniest we have pulled of ever. Thank's to all of you who saw us at Marathonrock 2006. You rock!

- The whole show was taped, so hopefully we will soon be able to add som video-clips to the site. Perhaps also some live songs as well.

Oh yeyah!
- The gig at Sweden rock was a sucess! Against all odds with Harrysson's broken ring-finger we rocked like ass at the Rock Classic Stage at Sweden Rock Festival 2006!
Harrysson had broke his left ring-finger only two days before the gig, but he played with a plaster and boy did he rock!
Well, we all did. Thank you all who came visit us at Sweden Rock 2006!

- The latest news about our album is that we are now finished with the cover and last week we started to mail promo's of it to magazines, record labels etc. Hopefully we'll get some positive feedback from it. But hey, why shouldn't we? =b

Oh yeyah!
- It is now official that Sovereign will play at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden, between 8-10th June. We will play at Rock Classic tent with eight other unsigned bands. If you want to se some good shit get over there at Thursday 8th June at 12:30. We'll blow yer hearts out! =b

- Added two of the songs that we used when we applied for Sweden Rock. The two songs are Rage and Panic Monger and can be found under the Media-section as well.

- We are also happy to announce that we are going to play in Falköping, Tue June 6th. Since we're being patriots and all...(not).
Anyway, The gig will take action at Medis (Medborgarhuset) in Falköping and we will play approx. at 2100 hours. Others bands will be Them Dead, The Shamalams and Davy's Grey Project. Since the Swedish goverment has decided that our national day 6th June is going to be a day to compare with our neigbours in Norway, you'd better get drunk and come in national clothing haha...

- A new area on our site is being developed as we speak. It will probably be called "Arnie's funhouse" our something like that. You se, our dear singer Arnesson is quite handy when it comes to edit video so we have decided to grant him a playground where he can upload his funny shit =b

- Added new pictures of the band at the band page but the colours were a bit screwed up so I'm adding new pictures this afternoon.

- Our full-length album is now finished and we are almost done with the cover as well! The recording was a success and the sound would probably beat the crap out of a elephant. - We also have a extreme happy annuncement to make, but we are not able to go public with this until next week. Stay put!

- Due to some major spam-problems with our guestbook we have decided to shut it down for now. The daily count of messages were about 300 posts so our server nearly collapsed. It's uncertain how long it may take to to modify the guestbook with filters etc. but hopefully it will be operational again during April.

- Our Album is now completed! The recording really kicked ass and the sound is fat as hell!

- Hell! The gig at Sticky Finger was a minor succes. We had a really great time and audience and the performance wasn't bad either.
The audience was in fact great!
Thank you all who saw us at Stick Fingers 2005-02-08 and to Studiefrämjandet who helped us getting there. Röck ön!
Pictures will soon be posted, as soon as I have retrived my full connection speed from Telia since they decided to restrict my connection to half the speed since they told me that I were up to no good =b

- All the recording in Studio X is now completed and Harrison went of yesterday at the speed of Volvo to grant Thomas the recordings. Thomas is the man who is going to mix and master our record. He has recorded bands like Ammotrack and so on. We are very excited to hear out his work when he is done!

- Fixed a message-form on the "contact" -page instead of links to our mail as it was before. It still has some minor bugs such as when you post a message the redirect command don't work properly. But the message reaches our contact-mail though =b

- Due to some technical shit the pictures from the Sticky Fingers-gig will be delayed a few days more before they are posted. Hang ten duuude!

- Now we are nearly finished! Almost all the guitar-sessions is completed and now it's only the song-parts left. Once again we have had some computer-related problems and this time it was major. One of the harddrives crashed apperantly and the computer was send at the speed of light to a computer-shop. It wasn't that bad though, and the recording-session could continue the day after the crash.

- Added some old pictures from a gig we had in Trollhättan 2003 at Club Extreme (R.I.P)

- And so we were finally finished with the drums and bass. The next step now is, as you've probably realized, the guitar-parts.
It was a slow start to find a sound that would work with the rest of the shit, but yesterday night we found a sound that worked.
And now Harrysson and Larsson practicly lives in the studio. Almost anyway...

- Addes some new pictures under the pictures-section. Most of the pictures are crap but we thougt that we uploaded them for now, and we will replace them as we get some new one's.

- Added two movie-clips under the media-section containting Larsson and Harrysson at large. They are in Swedish/Falköpings-accent so get yer self a dictonary to understand the proud northern language =b

- Lillerskog has now finished his bass-sessions and the "jury" is now in progress to determine if Lillerskog's efforts was worth the money...
Some minor mistakes has also been corrected so hopefully we will be able to start with the guitars tonight (Wednesday). Due to computer-related problems, as said before, the recording-process has been a bit
delayed. But the extremely nice people at Studio X and Vuxenskolan has given us compensation in form of twice the studio-time we have lost. Thank you very much!

- Finally we have uploaded the pictures to our server so you will now be able to check out some of the pictures in the pictures-section.

- God daaeemn, just one more drum-session and the songs are completed!
Just the drums though, but what tha fuck!
We recoreded the bass on one song today (Friday) and we will continue with the final drum-session tonight. We are a bit delayed bacause of computer-related problem in the studio but hopefully this shit will solve itself somehow. With a bit assistance from the engineer-lad of course.

- The bass-sessions has been quite pain-less, except for one song that Lillerskog cursed his eys out for. But the bass is almost finished now and we are planning to start recording the guitars later today (Tuesday).

Expand your mind

- Approx. 1500 curses has come out of Lillerskog's mouth.
- Harrysson has spent more time in the studio than the

- Ok kiddies, our first recording-day of twenty-one is now completed.
After hours of preparation with the drums we started to record our first song, wich in present time does'nt have a name yet. Well, not a proper one anyway. We got some help to get started by Jerker Tenenbaum and Tomas Johansson but later on the day we where left on our own. Most of the basic engineerings we are going to to ourselves but Tomas Johansson is the man who is going to mix and master the scheit.
So now it's been a hard day, at least for Wiklund, and now we are going to get a good night's sleep. Good nighet never-ever land.

- Ho ho ho, merry christmas and a fuckin' new year!
We are now only days away to record our full-lenght album. Title T.B.A.
The last week we have litteraly lived in our rehersal-room and squeezed the last shit out of all tunes.

- You will be able the follow some of the recordning on our site under the media-section. There you will be able to check out some pic's and perhaps even movie-clips. We'll se what the fat man in a beard might provide for the time to come. You will also be able to read som kinda' "blog" (the new internet-trend) on this page (the news-page).

- God damn, but it could have been worse. After ten seconds of the intro in Panic Monger, Larsson played of his H-string. Lucky for him and for us Lillerskog a.k.a "The saviour" brought his Destroyer that Larsson could use instead of his Gibson. He wasn't very found of that though. But what the hell, the show went on. We talked to a bounce of people afterwards and they said the our performance were tight and furious. Cheers!
The stage was probably one of the best we had played on and the sound had more fat than your moma! Summary, It was fun as hell and the sound kicked ass! period.

- Damn did we had a killin' time at our new friends in the south!
It wasn't really crowded but those of you who stod there in front, you made our night! Thanks to Gustav and the sound-engineer who almost raped Lillerskog. And you other two in front!

- The time afterwards the performance was a bit over the ordinary as well.
Wiklund was proclaimed by a soccer-hooligan to be he's bitch, cause he had a "cute" face. Wiklund wasn't very found of that idea though. Lillerskog, as mentioned before, was sexually abused by the sound-engineer. There was no penetration though, and that was very fortunate for Lillerskog, cause he had forgot to take his birth-controls that day.

- Arnesson got a rebuke from a "mature" rock-lady who said that his song-performance sucked, and that she didn't understand why We even had considered recruit Arnesson as out lead-singer. Sovereign think's you're great though Arnesson! Keep upp tha good woijk!
When we woke up the day after, Andreas (President) and Martin from Mobile Mob Freakshow still were going large. All honour to you who taught us a lesson in drinkin'!

Tomorrow we will play at Hårdrock Skåne in Malmö with Deville. It's a member only club and you will have to be at least 18 years old to enter. But if you surf to hardrockskane.com you can sign up there.
The admission is 200 sek. or about £20, but once you have reached the inside it's free beer baby!
The club is located at Norra grängesbergsvägen 24 in Malmö, Sweden.

- We are sorry to inform that our performance at the "concrete-festival" has been cancelled. The reason is that our drummer-boy wiklund has to go abroad with his work for a few weeks. No hard feelings about that though.
You can still check out Gaphia, grace will fall and deathshine though.

- Sovereign is getting "fit-for-fight" for a new recording-session. The studio, number of songs and everything that counts is still confidential, cause we are still under the phase of negotiation.
More news about that will come during the winter.

- Sovereign will play at this year's "Betongfestivalen" in Falköping. We will play on Friday 4:th november, time is T.B.A.

Thank you "honoured" Lousie Larsson at Falköpings Tidning,
(The Falköping newspaper) for an "astonishing" review. Did you even see us perform...? Even Ebba von Sydow could have done it better.

- Well, almost two months ago I laid finger on this page, but hey, It wouldn't be so if i didn't have a damn good reason, huh?
Any how, Marathonrock was a minor succes and the audience seemed to enjoy it. We even had female "fans" at the front of the stage who screamed and punced thier fellow headbangers, or what you should call it. It was fun as hell though, thanks ya'll at maratonrock 2005!

- Pictures from that happening is being processed as we speak by Sovereigns lead singer Arnesson. Keep up the good work young man!

- A full-lenght recording is planned to be set in motion in a couple of months, and all you locos out there who might could enjoy that scheaat, will probablly be able to buy it for a cheap penny.

- The attempts to update the design in the guestbook has not yet been very succesfull, but the show goes on...
